Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor & Mindfulness Instructor

"You cannot solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it"- Albert Einstein

My approach to therapy is hands on and experiential using evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have been practicing yoga and meditation in many different forms since 2005. I graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in psychology and completed my Masters Degree in Counseling at St Edwards University. I completed my student internship at the Austin Mindfulness Center where I was trained to be a mindfulness instructor. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Hawaii and have been in practicing since 2015.

I am passionate about assisting others and incorporating effective techniques within my individual and group counseling sessions. I embrace a holistic approach to therapy tailored to individual client needs. I understand that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the healing journey and aim to provide a safe haven for my clients to discover their own greatness. With practice, you can navigate the ups and downs of life with more ease, acceptance, and happiness. You have the power within you to shift your patterns, but sometimes it helps to have a counselor to hold space for that process.

I have been fortunate to call Maui my home since 2015 and am blessed to be part of a large Maui Ohana. When I am not working, you will find me listening to music, meditating, dancing, spending time with my children, and floating peacefully on the ocean.
